Omaha Public Meeting Dawns: Good Luck Blevins Family!
Omaha, NE - Today, at 2pm, the Omaha City Council will hold a public forum regarding its proposed new pit bull and dangerous dog ordinance. I wished I lived there just for the privilage of standing next to her. I'm sure she will be attacked and shouted down today and she is very brave for speaking out on this issue for all of us.

"A representative of the American Pit Bull Rescue Association told the council the group opposes requiring muzzling any specific breed of dog. The group questioned whether animal control officers would be able to enforce the muzzling requirement, saying it's often difficult to tell which dogs are pit bulls and which aren't."
They had no problem picking them out during the Verizon commercial. And does this representative live in Omaha?

I agree and as a former victim in Indiana I wish the very best for a woman who is showing the world what bravery and a mother's love looks like.
