Louisville Girl Hospitalized After Pit Bull Attack
Serious Injury SustainedLouisville, KY - In a developing story, an 8-year-old girl remained hospitalized late Saturday after being attacked by a pit bull earlier in the day. The child was attacked in the 100 block of south 44th street around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Officials say she was playing with the dog when it turned on her. The girl was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital with serious injuries. Metro Animal Service officers have quarantined the dog.

Pulled the stake up...Didn't the owner know that Pit Bulls dominate canine weight pulling events?!
Didn't the owner owner know that they are 14 times more likely to break containment and attack compared to other breeds?!
