Dog Appeared Friendly Then Attacked
South Windsor, CN - A 12-year-old girl was attacked by a loose dog causing "significant injury and trauma" to her face, police said. The victim was walking near a railroad crossing with a friend when a black, medium-sized dog approached them. Police said the dog appeared friendly at first but then jumped up onto the victim and bit her face. Police need help identifying the dog or its owners. The description of this attack matches classic pit bull behavior. The dog attacks without warning, without a bark, growl or direct stare.
