The reaction from the nutters when they read this will be like that of a vampire seeing a crucifix.

This is not only a public safety issue, since the pit bull community also consumes the lion's share of animal control resources in most places. They definitely aren't paying for it.

They are like ticks and drunk drivers.

In Holland the BSL didn't really work. The reason was: American Bulldogs, American and English Staffordshire Terriers weren't considered pitbulls. Don't ask me why. But it gave people a way out by obtaining false papers for their pits.

However, it did help a little because price-winning fighting dogs were kept of the streets as they usually have no papers and are worth money. So the owners didn't want to risk loosing them. They used to walk them at night. Now that the BSL is gone, they can show up anytime in our dogparks and there is nothing you can do about it besides leaving a.s.a.p.

Good for Council Bluffs and their leadership. A town that actually cares about human beings!

The pit bull community only has themselves to blame. How much longer do they think they can continue to breed these "dogs" with such grotesque behavioral standards?
