Shasy Hills, FL - In what appears to be another "necromauling," 21-year-old Anthony Deangelis went to check on his three puppies in his father's bedroom Tuesday night. He found his 43-year-old father dead, his face and ears partially eaten by the pit bull terriers, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
When paramedics arrived they found Daniel Deangelis on the floor, where he usually slept because it helped his back, and a large portion of his ears as well as the right side of his face near the eye appeared to have been eaten. There were no other signs of trauma, according to the Sheriff's report.
Dangelis was last seen going to his bedroom with the aid of a family friend. Dangelis had been drinking heavily that day and had taken an anti-anxiety pill before going to bed. The cause of death is still unknown.
