  1. These Pit Bull special interest groups have no care for public safety. They have blood on their hands.

  2. Why are the veterinarians pro pit bull? What do they gain, besides stitching up the victims of pits? I have a friend that's a vet and she hates pits AND their owners.

  3. As someone once said, every time a pit mauls a vet retires a month earlier. Not to mention the money AFF and NCRC are lining their pockets with.

  4. If you're still donating to organizations like Best Friends, stop. Tell your friends and family to do the same.

  5. It's all so corrupt and dangerous. Amazing to hear about the Irish fellow who took part in spite of his heavy bias towards Pit Bulls. How embarrassing to be caught out, serves him right.

This is my favourite bit – wow, what an ego. She's wearing Colleen's shoes, and they don't fit her at all! " “To produce studies, AFF bought a private research body in 2007. The acquisition was kept secret until the victims’ group Dogsbite discovered this during litigation. The National Canine Research Council (NCRC) was created by a veterinary technician, Karen Delise. Neither an academic researcher nor a veterinarian, she self proclaims as the ‘greatest national expert on deaths caused by dog bites,’” La Presse reports. NCRC co-authors and finances studies, like the ones cited by the OMVQ, which chiefly attempt to show pit bulls cannot be identified."

Thank you for your hard work, DBO.

  6. The veterinary associations are LOBBYING GROUPS. They represent the business interests of the animal profiteer business, and these associations are connected to farm lobbies and their allies the dog breeders. It is all about the business interests for these associations.

  7. I still dont understand the pit lobby. What are they gaining from this? money? Why cant they do that with any other breed? They must be making some big money from this or something.

  8. Thank you for this very excellent important article! Now, how can I shout it from the rooftops?

  9. Alex, I can't say I know what the pit lobby is gaining, but I can tell you that dogfighting is a multibillion dollar a year industry. Criminals have a vested interest in passing off pits as pets. They don't have a better dog to fight, yet. My guess is they're qorking on a monster dog as we speak.
