NYC Housing Authorities Ban Pit Bulls, Rottweilers and Dobermans

Vicious and Threatening New York, NY - On the heels of the U.S. Army (a federal institution) banning dangerous dog breeds from all U.S. base housing facilities, the New York City Housing Authority (a city, state and federally funded institution) followed suit. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Bans Dangerous Dog Breeds

Cites "Unreasonable Risk" Jacksonville, NC - It was announced this week that Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune shifted policy for base housing. The shift comes on the heels of the U.S. Army adopting a similar policy across all RCI privatized housing facilities. Autopsy Complete archived UPDATE 04/15/09: An autopsy confirms that David Whitenack, Jr. (previously reported as "Whiteneck") died as a result of an attack by dogs.
