UPDATE 03/03/08: A mail carrier was trapped inside her car for almost two hours while two dogs attacked her tires, flattening three of them (pictured). The dogs not only attacked the mail Jeep but also the police car that responded to the call for help.
It is reported that the dogs' owner bought the mail carrier, Robin Barton, three new tires, and she's back on the job delivering mail. While terrified at the time of the "chewing," Barton now finds humor in the incident Police say they don't believe the dog owner's theory that the "tire-shaped chew toy" lead to the attack.
