Dog owners speak in Marshall Co. mauling
Dog Owners Speak in Marshall County MaulingA Marshall County girl was mauled by her neighbor’s dogs this past weekend. The owner of the dogs, Marni Taylor has apologized and gotten rid of the dogs.
"Me and Tim Lynn would like to express our sincere apology to the child for the dog attack it could have been avoided and were truly sorry."Since then both dogs -- a mastiff and a heeler -- have been euthanized. So has her black lab, which was not involved in Sunday’s mauling, but reportedly attacked Taylor’s brother-in-law on Monday, who then shot the dog in self-defense. Lynn was arrested for animal cruelty after the shooting because the lab was not dead when he dumped the animal.
Oklahoma has a provision that allows killing a dog to protect livestock, but the law is silent on killing a dog to protect your dog, yourself or your child.

Let me get this straight....you can shoot a dog to protect your chickens, but you can't shoot a dog to protect your child?

Pretty much -- call them very outdated dog laws. Such outdated laws exist in nearly every state. Isn't it ABOUT TIME these laws were updated to the 20th century?

This is a whacked out case! I'm lost!
So the mauling involving two dogs occurred Sunday. The following week the black Lab attacked someone and was shot as a result. That's a lot of dog bites in one week.
Who in the heck are these owners??
