Malta animal rescue group favors total ban on pit bulls

NGO Calls for Total Ban on Pit Bulls
Max Farrugia, chairperson of the International Animal Rescue Malta, knows that pit bull dogs are used for illegal activities, including dogfights, because of their aggressiveness. Due to these reasons, his organization favors of a total ban on these dogs. In a recent pit bull attack that left a pony severely mauled. He adds,
"Pit bulls can be dangerous not only to other animals but also to human beings…there should be a total ban of these dogs and any others that can be dangerous."
