2014 Dog Bite Fatality: Pit Bull Type Dogs Attack, Strip Naked and Kill Dayton Woman

Klonda Richey was brutally attacked and killed by her neighbor's dogs in Dayton, Ohio. In March of 2020, it was announced that a $3.5 million dollar settlement had been reached in the lawsuit filed by Klonda's estate against former Dog Warden, Mark Kumpf, and the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County.
