Ban Pit Bulls
Lynn, MA - After 76-year old Margaret Murphy was terribly mauled by her grandson's pit bull last week, the Lynn Journal published a vividly clear and honest opinion article about pit bulls including: "Pit bulls by their nature are ferocious animals. They are attack dogs -- and they often attack. They love violence and mayhem. They enjoy mauling people they do not know." Kudos to the Journal Staff for having the courage to print the truth to the American public!

"Now that yet another resident of the this city has been mauled by a pit bull, I wonder, what purpose exactly do pit bull terriers serve for the owners?
More importantly, what service do they serve for us, the residents of his city?
The answer in both cases is nothing.
Pit bulls by their nature are ferocious animals.
They are attack dogs – and they often attack.
They love violence and mayhem.
They enjoy mauling people they do not know.
They are strong, so strong, that when attacking police, the police tend to shoot first and ask questions later.
They do no-one any good and wherever they live, there is the potential for disaster...

Great article!
Normally, I don't bother commenting at the articles’ sites unless it is something in my own locality. And when an article like this comes out, the pit lobby hits twitter and the nutters flock out of the asylum. They have an array of selfish interest to protect so the climate is rabid. None-the-less, the comment section can provide some worthwhile entertainment – that is, if you’re entertained by some true pit nutter lunacy.
I like how the public has found DBO and has started to utilize the information. What’s funny is how the mention of DBO tanks the nutters and a few of them will drop into full blown, frothing at the mouth psychosis.
So, according to one of the goofier pitophiles, DBO is owned by CNN or something?
I kid you not.
It’s time for…
“Bwaaaaaaaa-hahahahahaha! Idiot!”
I’m sure it was a waste of time but I tried to help him out.
Kudos to the authors at Lynn Journal for seeing the issue for what it is and forcing the pit advocacy to walk the plank!
The Dogfighting stringpullers really know how to mainpulate these young advocates….The problem isn't the criminal activity perverting the breed standards…The problem is DBO, the media, and HSUS.
It's amazing how they control these young females…If only the young females could control their Pit Bulls!
Another Massachusetts newspaper calls for a pit bull ban:

March 31, 2010 — The Board of Aldermen has put more teeth into an ordinance governing vicious dogs in this city. The ordinance does not go far enough in our opinion. Pit bulls should be banned from public parks and spaces – and in fact, they should be banned entirely in the city. The identification of a dog as vicious, in most instances, is usually about pit bulls. Beagles, aren’t vicious. Labs aren’t vicious. Even German Shepherds aren’t vicious. Pit bulls are vicious. The people who raise them and who walk them with heavy chains and who us them for personal protection do not aid in making the streets and parks safer. Pit bulls inside homes are a danger to children and to the elderly. In Lynn last week, a great grandmother, 76, was mauled by a pit bull…

It is so important to create awareness about dangerous dogs to help people be more careful around these breeds, dog owners to be more responsible and to clear the way for more effective legislation.
