"I Didn't Need This"
Rockford, WI - It was recently reported that Dennis Braun was attacked by a neighborhood pit bull. According to Braun, he was walking down Bildhal Street in Rockford when he says his arm was nearly ripped off by the animal. Now Braun intends to sue the pit bull owner. Braun, a well-built, full grown man, speaks candidly on camera from his hospital room. He sums up the sudden, aggressive pit bull attack nearly better than we have seen it summed up before:
"It's terrifying. One minute you're walking down the street and the next minute you're fighting for your life."
The owner of the pit bull, Brian Helberg, denies it was his dog. He also squeezes into the news clip a favored pit bull owner jingle: "My dog would only lick you to death." (See FAQ: "My Dog Might Lick You to Death") Meanwhile, Braun says county investigators are helping him search for the dog. He hopes the dog can be identified soon to prevent another attack. "An innocent civilian walking down the street doesn't need that, I didn't need this," said Braun.
