UPDATE 10/31/16: Dallas authorities announced today there will be no criminal charges filed in the fatal dog mauling death of Antoinette Brown last May. UPDATE 07/31/12: A young child nearly killed in by pit bull last week was taken off life support Sunday. Jasper County Investigator Thad Windham said the child is undergoing treatment at Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson. A social worker said the child's recovery would take a long time.
