  1. Hey Colleen, I like your Fb page policy that if we're not commenting on the article (where politicians etc might see it), comments will be deleted.

    People like Keenan do need support from us when they have the gall to stand up and state a simple fact. Certainly in a state like Mississippi.

    I hope anyone who bothers to comment here will also bother to offer this man support?

  2. Returned home? Egads. There are no words to adequately describe the absurd times in which we live where a fighting dog that nearly kills a child is not put down immediately, no quesitons asked.

  3. No charges against the owner after the dog almost kills a kid? And, if the kid makes it, he'll have a very long recovery?

    Why do dogs — and their irresponsible owners — have such a privileged place in our world? Something is very wrong with this picture.

  4. This case illustrates the high legal status granted to dogs and their owners. The investigator more or less said that there are laws on the books for OTHER animals, but if a dog attacks its technically OK.
