Dog Owner Refuses to Put Down Dog
TAKE ACTION: This past Labor Day, Courtney Noonan's son Owen was bitten on the face by a Malamute. He was in the hospital for 4 days and received 40 stitches under his eye. Since the attack, he has not regained movement in his lower eyelid. He may never, leaving it permanently paralyzed.
Noonan said the attack was unprovoked. She said her son was simply walking by the animal. The owners of the dog have refused to put the dog down, even though police and animal control officials have recommended that they do. A trial date is set for Feb. 20 when a judge will decide the fate of the dog. Help bring justice to Owen and his family by signing the online petition. So far, over 600 signatures have been gathered.
