Charges Pending In Pit Bull Attacks
On Wednesday, two pit bull mixes attacked Mariam Cose, then her neighbor Patricia Martin in a Nashville, TN suburb. Ms.Martin told the news team:
"I had this stick and I hit one of the dogs, when I hit one of the dogs the other dog was biting at me on my leg. I was backing up from the dogs because I was tired, these two dogs I don't know if I can make it out of this situation, I’m praying the whole time."
The dogs are now in quarantine, and the owner is facing charges. In what may be the most ridiculous animal official quote ever recorded, Mr. Biggs says:
"The dogs did do the biting, and the attacking, but ultimately it was the owner's fault for not keeping the dogs secure," said Billy Biggs from Metro Animal Control.
DogsBite.org would like Mr. Biggs and other animal control officers to consider the following: Many different dog breeds venture from their house or yard. These same breeds to not hunt down and attack two separate human beings.
