Pregnant Woman Attacked by Pet Pit Bull at Own Baby Shower
Dog "Locked Onto" StomachMobile, AL - The baby shower of 21-year old Nicole Harris was rudely interrupted after a pit bull broke its leash and attacked her. "Seven months pregnant, he locked onto her stomach, and we had to get him off of her," says the victim’s cousin Charlena Sylvester. She tried to beat the dog off Nicole with an umbrella. The attack happened in the backyard of a home on Dauphin Island Parkway. Another woman, Christie Harris was also injured in the attack.
Betty Campbell, 73-Years Old
Two days earlier, it was reported that a 73-year old woman was attacked by a pit bull just off of Dauphin Island Parkway. Betty Campbell said that after she stepped out of her car, the dog lunged at her. She suffered a severe bite on her left leg. She said she managed to kick the dog off, but only after she was "hurt bad, there was blood everywhere." Unless the dog is found, Campbell will have to undergo the rabies vaccination (a series of 3-5 shots, at a cost of $2,000).

Had sad that something that was supposed to be a happy occasion got spoiled by a frankendog.
This incident really bothers me. I certainly hope that everything is okay with this family.
