Placer County Woman's Death Still A Mystery

Test Results Still Pending
Placer County, CA - Pathology results are still pending in the case of Cora Lee Suehead who was found fatally mauled about 100 yards from her home December 4, 2007. Until results can be finalized, officials can't contribute her death to the four pit bull dogs they removed from her property after her body was discovered.

Lt. Jeff Ausnow said that detectives have conducted a thorough investigation and there’s nothing to indicate that the dogs were known to be vicious -- the element needed in order to file criminal charges. The case will now be turned over to animal control; it will be their duty to determine the fate of the dogs.
