Woman attacked by acquaintance’s pit bull
Louisville, KY -- Twenty-six-year-old Amanda Lynch is recovering from a vicious dog attack on New Year's Day. According to Lynch, seconds after she walked in the door of an acquaintance’s house, his pit-bull attacked her. She claims the 3-year-old male pit-bull would not loosen his grip, and that it took three men to pull the dog off of her. The dog owner is sorry the situation happened:
He calls his pit-bull friendly, saying the dog has never attacked anyone, and this behavior is uncharacteristic. Each aspect of this story is a broken record. On the second day of the New Year, it is already replaying like it has 100 thousand times in the past. DogsBite.org hopes that Amanda makes a full recovery and receives due civil and criminal recourse for this terrifying crime.

Famous last words... but my dog has never done anything like this before.

And they are famous last words only because the owner didn't know enough to learn to read their dog's body language.
And chances are, the dog was not properly trained anyway.
