Pit bull in Romeoville attack to be killed
Pit bull in Romeoville Attack to be KilledRomeoville, IL - The pit bull that attacked a 4-year-old, nearly severing one of his ears, will be killed. The dog had no previously known record of attacks and is currently being held by animal-control officers.
The child was at home with his mother when the dog grabbed the child by his head and would not release him until it was repeatedly struck with a baseball bat. No criminal charges are likely against the dog's 35-year-old owner, the boy's uncle.
