Killer dog euthanized for attack on poodle
Killer Dog Euthanized for Attack on PoodleOne of two dogs that attacked and killed an elderly widow's poodle has been euthanized and its owner is facing hefty fines, after bylaw officers used tips from Sun readers to track down the offending animals.
Marilyn Johnston was walking her miniature poodle, Molly when two large dogs suddenly attacked from behind, with one grabbing Molly in its jaws and shaking her violently. Officers went door-to-door in the southeast neighbourhood of Fairview and found the dogs, a Blue Heeler Mix and a Rottweiller mix.
The owner has a number of charges, including the standard $1,000 fine given when a dog attacks or kills another dog. Because the owner was co-operative, the fines could be reduced.

They really need to get a better control of their dog by laws in Fairview. This is the town I was almost killed by a Rottie almost three years ago. The Rottie made the paper with his litter mates a couple months before for being loose and acting aggressively towards people in town.
They never caught the dog because before they could the owner of the three Rotties, suddenly had none. Go figure?
They were irresponsible dog owners and I had to suffer for it. And I do not even want to think about what actually happened to the dogs, because up there...people think nothing of animal abuse. They shoot, drown, dump and otherwise abuse their dogs.
