Family Pit Bull Attacks 4-Year Old
Mobile, AL - A four-year old boy is recovering after the family pit bull attacked him. Bryant Gross got into an argument with his brother and the dog jumped in the middle of it and attacked the boy. The child suffered injuries to his face and head. A woman who happened to be driving by, stopped after seeing the mother scream for help.
"The dog didn't want the mother," she said. "He he wanted the child. She was holding her hand out and everything, and he wasn't trying to take her at all. He kept trying to get in between her arms and just get to the baby. He just bit his ear up and on the side of his face and really, really hurt him."
The child is in fair condition and the pit bull is in the animal shelter. It will be up to the family to decide if they want to bring the dog back home. No criminal charges have been filed.

Must have been the Pit Bulls mythical "Nanny Dog" genes kicking in to break up the argument between the two kids.
